Julia Ginocchio

Julia Ginocchio, Recording Secretary, WOWC

Julia has lived in West Orange since 2006 when she and her family relocated from Ocean Grove and Brooklyn. She has been a member of the Women’s Club since late 2020 after deciding that she wanted to get more involved with the larger community and meet more like-minded women outside of her neighborhood.

As Secretary Julia keeps minutes during both general and executive board meetings and works to keep all members up-to-date with accurate information about the Club. Additionally, she oversees the Senior Matters Committee which endeavors to improve the quality of life for the older citizens of West Orange. She is also passionate about sustainability and environmental issues and is working to get the Club more active in these areas.

Along with her husband John, Julia runs Ginocchio Architecture and is also a freelance architectural PR writer and works in the events and marketing space. She received her Master’s degree from West Virginia University. She is the mother of Lucca (grade 12) and Annika (grade 10).

Outside of the WOWC Julia is also active in her church, St. Luke’s in Montclair, and with Scouts BSA Troop 6 where she was a scoutmaster. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping and kayaking as well as photography, sewing, and reading historical non-fiction. Julia can be reached at: wowcsecretary@gmail.com
