Sibel Macfarlan

Sibel Macfarlan, President, WOWC

Sibel and her family moved to West Orange from Brooklyn in 2019 and love being here!  Married with two boys, 4.5 and 8 months, Sibel works full time for BNY Mellon as a relationship manager for the data analytics business.  She is also the Co-Chair of the Business Imperative Pillar of the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) at the bank.  

In January 2020, Sibel decided to attend a WOWC meeting hoping to meet some like-minded women and left as the Fundraising Chair!  Sibel was responsible for leading our successful fundraisers including the Family Photography event, Light Up West Orange, Valentine’s Day Cookie Kits, and Mother’s Day Gift Boxes.  She also built and ran the website.  

Now as President, Sibel hopes to build on the wonderful foundation of the previous board by developing and instituting processes and modernizing the Club so that our members can more readily see the fruits of their time and energy.  Sibel believes in leading by example and hopes her enthusiasm and commitment will be evident to and mirrored by the membership.  

Outside of the Club, Sibel and her husband have been doing constant home improvement and stay plenty busy with the little ones exploring the town pool, library, nature trails, and TBZ.  Sibel can be reached at sibel@westorangewomensclub.org
